MOVE. HEAL. LIVE.
Chiropractic is the purest, unadulterated form of health care. As chiropractors, we put nothing in and take nothing out. We only use what the body has, remove interference in the master healing system of the body, and allow you to perform, heal, and operate at your full potential.
The purpose of chiropractic care is not for the treatment of conditions or disease; rather, it is the restoration of normal body function, the way it was intended. Chiropractors work with the nervous system through gentle spinal adjustments which help to reduce stress-related interference to the nervous system, thereby enhancing overall body function.
Every single system of the body - circulatory, hormonal, reproductive, glandular, digestive, eliminatory, immunological, muscular, respiratory, and skeletal - depend on the optimal function of the nervous system. Without it, we cannot function and express life in the most optimal way, despite regular exercise, a nutrient-dense diet, or minimal daily stress.
Chiropractic is designed on the concept of vitalism. It is believed that the body has an Innate Intelligence to healing, and dis-ease occurs when the body’s natural ability to adapt to life’s forces (stress, environmental toxins, traumatic events) is interrupted. The thing that disrupts this communication pathway is called a subluxation, which interferes with the normal function of the nervous system. Once a subluxation(s) is removed through a very specific, safe, and controlled force applied to a joint, the interference is removed and the body's nervous system is able to function optimally.
In essence, true healing comes from within the body rather than from the adjustment itself.
Whether you are in pain from a recent injury, been involved in a motor vehicle accident, suffer from chronic pain, or just want to maintain your health, chiropractic care is a great way to address the root of your pain, treat the underlying cause, and optimize your nervous system function so that you can restore balance and keep motion in your daily activities and lifestyle.
Dr. Kreusel is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and can help realign areas outside of the spine, including hips, knees, ribs, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, ankles, feet and even fingers and toes.
People often experience pain from conditions like bulging or herniated disks in the spine, placing pressure on nerves and other spinal structures. One way to help alleviate some of the discomfort is to add spinal decompression therapy to your individualized treatment program
Spinal decompression therapy works by gently separating the spine’s vertebrae, creating a vacuum inside the discs. This promotes the diffusion of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids to the inside of the discs, allowing healing to take place.
Additional therapies may be utilized to help your body heal. These treatments can include: decompression, electrical stimulation, kinesio taping, ultrasound, hydrotherapy, and corrective exercises.
